    February 18, 2012 – Mijune Pak of Follow Me Foodie fame hosted the 1st ever public tasting of her Apple Pie In-A-Jar at Salty Tongue Cafe in Vancouver, BC. Mijune and her Pie In-A-Jar shot to stardom after she competed on Food Network Canada’s Recipe to Riches.

    February 11/12, 2012 – The BC Tree Fruits team brought the Apple Month celebration back to beautiful British Columbia by hosting the Apple Month interactive display at Coquitlam Centre.

  • BC Tree Fruits Visits Schools to Educate on Healthy Eating

    February 9/10, 2012 – To promote Apple Month to the younger generation, BC Tree Fruits visited Edith Cavall Elementary, Thunderbird Elementary, Begbie Elementary, University Hill Elementary and St. Johns on February 9th and 10th.

  • Apples, Apples, and More Apples at V at Earls Yaletown

    February 8, 2012 – The BC Tree Fruits team, including CEO Gary Schieck, hosted 45 of Vancouver’s influential writers, TV and radio personalities and bloggers at V at Earls Yaletown for a night filled with apple inspired dishes and cocktails.

  • BC Tree Fruits Visits Market Mall

    February 4/5, 2012 – The first weekend of February saw the BC Tree Fruits team visit Market Mall in Calgary, AB. The team set up the official Apple Month display and educated Market Mall shoppers on Apple Month. The BCTF Ambassadors answered all of the consumers apple related questions and encouraged the younger shoppers to participate in the Artful Apple contest.

  • BC Tree Fruits Celebrates Apple Month with Calgary Media

    February 2, 2012 – BCTF hosted 28 of Calgary’s most influential writers, radio personalities and bloggers at Home Tasting Room for a night filled with apple inspired dishes and cocktails. Executive Chef Roger demonstrated for our captivated audience how to make a Broek Acres pork belly with apple puree and au jus.
