Since the dawn of man up until the Industrial Revolution, all farming was organic. Then scientific advancements were introduced to promote growth and reduce pests. Well, not everyone wanted scientific advancements in their food. So in the 1960s, the back-to-nature movement launched both the concept, and soon the commercial industry, of organic farming. Today, many of us mix our shopping basket with both regular and organic foods, and BC Tree Fruits is very proud to offer both.
